These terms reflect the changing needs of the workplace. The primary function of the Web Services group is to ensure that the EDC is current with respect to emerging web technologies and new concepts.
EDC Web Services assists with all aspects of web development and administration. Website hosting is provided on a variety of web server environments (e.g., IIS, Oracle) with configurable security administration managed by our staff. We can assist with the categorization of users into roles that may be used to restrict or protect areas of a website. Access to web design expertise to assist with personalized graphics, logo creation, and custom programming differentiates our web services from others. Our Web Services group can assist with fine tuning of any website presentation. More complex and custom website development (e.g., Oracle, JAVA, ASP) using multiple EDC services may also be negotiated with the EDC.
