Admissions Committee Review System
The Epidemiology Admissions Committee is charged by the Epidemiology Department with receiving, reviewing and making admission decisions regarding applications submitted by prospective MPH, MS, PhD and DrPH students. To calculate and record committee scores for each applicant according to parameters defined by the department, three forms are utilized:
- Applicant Evaluation Forms are completed by each committee reviewer to indicate a score assigned to an individual application.
- Admission Ranking Parameters Forms identify all departmentally approved ranking ranges, and are utilized as a reference by committee members.
- Admission Decision Forms indicate the scores assigned by all committee reviewers to each applicant, and include the applicant’s final committee score (the average of the reviewer scores).
